How might we empower communities to use AI to tackle the local challenges of Climate Change?
This is a project done in response to a brief from the RSA Student Design Awards in collaboration with Google Deepmind (2024). We figured that there are subtle ways in which AI models could be used to tackle climate change, not by direct migitation, but by changing consumer behaviour. We used the UK transport system as a basis for change, and introduced an AI powered application that increases the reliability of trains, in order to improve the experience of consumers and increase the use of public transport as opposed to private cars.
